About
Your New Counselor

Hi there! My name is Amanda Markva, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of Washington. As a Lewis County local, I am passionate about bringing high-quality mental health care to our community and helping ensure that people in our area have access to compassionate, supportive services close to home.

Whether you are navigating anxiety, trauma, or life’s transitions, I am here to support you on your journey. Life can bring challenges that feel overwhelming or isolating, but you don’t have to face them alone. I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel heard, respected, and understood.

I believe that you are the expert in your own life. My role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance, tools, and encouragement as you work toward the goals that matter most to you. Together, we can explore challenges, build resilience, and develop strategies that support your well-being and personal growth.

When I’m not in the office, you’ll likely find me spending time with my family, including my husband and two daughters who always keep me on my toes. I also enjoy creating art—so don’t be surprised if I show up with a little paint on my hands. Art is one of the ways I practice my own coping and self-care, and I value the role that creativity and balance can play in maintaining mental wellness.
